Acquisition unit for analog filters measurements
Vríčan, Peter ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Kincl, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with frequency filters and their realization. The main aim was to design conception and involvement of acquisition unit for analog filters automatic measurements. Acquisition unit consists of its bulb with seven analog filters. Contained filters are 3 active analog filters ARC of second series ( LP, HP, BP ), 3 passive analog filters RC of second series ( HP, BP, BS ) and the filter with lossless grounded gyrator. Whole measurement, frequency setting of generator, measured filter selection and data sending is automatically operated by microprocessor controlled by PC. Communication between microprocessor and PC is realized via USB interface. Unit realization, testing and creating of control software was the next goal of thesis. Its achieved parameters from measurement of filter frequency responses are compared with responses of the simulations of the same filters using PSpice. The thesis is focused also on causes of differences between real and theoretical filter responses, which includes mainly tolerances and parasitic properties of applied components.
